Volunteer to be a Mentor for Newcomer Youth.  This is an opportunity to volunteer for the (TDSB) Toronto District School Board with newcomer youth (13-24).  Help youth with their homework, academic planning, practice English; explore the community and much more.

This will give you the chance to fulfill your community or practicum hours, build leadership skills, get professional experience and you can obtain a Letter of Reference from TDSB.
