Sheron Royal-Campbell is an author of "Skip-A-Day Journal, a motivational
trainer and inspirational speaker. She has created, implemented and conducted
educational and personal development training for women and youth, for over 15
years, at Shelters and Community Service Groups. Her professional qualifications
consist of Adult Education - Staff Development and Training, and Business
Management and Leadership Skills certificate - Seneca College, Toronto. She is
also an ordained Minister of Evangelism and Spiritual Training.

Have you ever considered what FRIENDSHIP really is? For several years, I have
watched my friendship developed with laughter, tears and many directions. I
often wondered what price did I pay to get such FRIENDS, or what was the gain
for keeping the FRIENDSHIP alive?
I have realized that in my earlier years I was more tolerable and understanding
with others; and because of my persona, my relationships proved profitable. But,
I have since learnt and discovered that the older I got, my tolerance has grown
thin, and my understanding has broadened. No longer am I willing to accept and
allow certain type of behaviour any more.
What does this mean? Am I not a friendly person? Am I not a patient person? Have
I grown weary, old and miserable? Or am I simply tired of sacrificing my life to
maintain, a lifeless friendship?
